There is something mysterious and alluring about corals, shells and pearls. Nature has kept these items this way to provoke the humans into exploring the dark secrets of the ocean. People have always been fascinated by these things from time immemorial and this could also be the reason why so many seafarers have dived deep inside deep oceans to explore the fantastic mysteries the ocean holds for us humans. Pearls and some corals are expensive and have attracted many a human to reach the seabed to retrieve them. One thing, which is not expensive and is in fact a free gift from Mother Nature, is the seashell.
Every seashell is unique in design and character. Some are coarse while others are smooth. Some are big while some are very small. Even the intricate patterns on the seashells are unique and one seashell differs from the other in this respect. This makes all seashells truly unique. Seashells find a place in a lot of things. Some collect them as a hobby while many seashells end us as jewelry or artifacts. Now seashells are even used as decorations on wedding cakes. In fact, if you are planning on having a beach wedding then there is no better choice other than a seashell wedding cake as the wedding cake choice for the happy occasion.
The seashell is a bride’s favorite choice. A beach wedding or a Hawaiian themed wedding or a tropical themed wedding will be perfect to display the seashell-studded wedding cakes. Seashells can be added to the wedding cakes by making them in quite different ways like icings or marzipans or chocolates. Colors can remain true to the natural colors of seashells or blended to match the overall color theme of the cake. Though the seashell cakes are a bride’s favorite, the bridegroom and the guests will deeply appreciate the bride’s taste in her choice of the wedding cake.
